"I was born the son of a poor sharecropper..." 

Wait a sec! That was George Jefferson! I was born the son of a secretary and a court clerk in the great non-state of Washington, DC.  It's been a very colorful life since then, involving a little bit of moving around, lots of new and interesting people and places, and a strong, almost overwhelming, desire to help my fellow man (and woman). I've always been a "people person" and working as a massage therapist seems to combine my two favorite things - meeting new people and making people feel good.

I am an active professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association.



So What Do I Know About Massage?
I attended the nationally renowned Mueller College of Holistic Studies.  I have received my certification as an Holistic Health Practitioner with over 1000 hours of in-class and hands-on training.  I have passed the National Certification Exam for Therapeutic Massage.  I have studied Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Tui Na, Shiatsu, Thai, Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Fascilitation, Massotherapy, and Trigger Point Release.  I've also had been trained in several chair massage techniques.

Ok, so it's safe to say I may know a little bit about massage.
